About the Role

Working alongside experienced plumbers, you will gain hands-on experience across commercial construction projects while continuing your apprenticeship training and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified plumbers with the installation of plumbing, gas and drainage systems
  • Use and maintain hand and power tools safely
  • Carry out general labouring and site preparation duties
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures and requirements
  • Learn to read plans, specifications and technical drawings
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Attend trade school and complete apprenticeship requirements
  • Work collaboratively with tradespeople, apprentices and site supervisors

You are a current 2nd or 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice who is:

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Current manual driver's licence, or working towards obtaining one

  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
  • Genuine willingness to learn and develop plumbing skills in a commercial construction environment
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour
  • Ability to work across various Perth metropolitan construction sites
Desirable Selection Criteria
  • Certificate II in Plumbing
  • Exposure to commercial construction plumbing projects
  • Experience working from plans and specifications
  • Basic hand and power tool competency
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working at Heights Ticket
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket
